Οδικώς μέχρι Αρκίτσας:
Ακολουθείτε την εθνική οδό Αθηνών-Λαμίας και στο 150ο km παίρνετε το φέρρυ μποτ για το λιμάνι της Αιδηψού. Η διαδρομή διαρκεί περίπου 45 λεπτά. To ταξίδι διαρκεί περίπου 90 λεπτά.
Εναλλακτικά Οδικώς μέχρι Χαλκίδας :
Ακολουθείτε την Εθνική Οδό Αθηνών – Χαλκίδας και στη συνέχεια τις ταμπέλες προς Βόρεια Εύβοια , ύστερα από κάποια χιλιόμετρα τις ταμπέλες προς Αιδηψό . Η απόσταση είναι 177 χλμ. . Επίσης μπορείτε να φτάσετε μέσω ΚΤΕΛ που αναχωρούν καθημερινά από το σταθμό Λιοσίων.
Ιστορική αναδρομή
Τα Ήλια, πήραν το όνομά τους από τον ναό του Ηλίου Απόλλωνα, του θεού του ήλιου και του φωτός, που βρισκόταν ψηλότερα στο όρος Τελέθριο. Κτισμένα αμφιθεατρικά στους πρόποδες του όρους, συνδυάζουν ιδανικά την ηρεμία της γαλάζιας θάλασσας με την αγριότητα του βουνού.
