OUR HISTORY

HotelBrain was founded in 2000 by Panos Paleologos. In the same year, the company signed their first management agreement with Katikies Hotel in Santorini and the rest is history.

After becoming established in Santorini and Mykonos, HotelBrain extended its network of operated hotels to the rest of Cyclades, as well as other Greek destinations, before relocating to Athens, in 2009, aiming at even higher targets.

In 2013 the company’s first action to open and operate a hotel abroad was recorded. More particularly, HotelBrain managed the pre-opening phase and operated O’ Monot Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon.

In 2015, a major strategic decision was taken as HotelBrain, having already the know-how and experience of a hotel operator, decided to start leasing hotel assets.

Today HotelBrain is the largest hospitality group and the fastest growing hotelier in Greece, as well as the leading “white flag” hotel operator in Europe, operating, under management or lease agreements, more than 200 hotels.
