Mykonos Town
Mykonos’ picturesque capital is Chora (also known as “Mykonos Town” or “Hora”), a mostly pedestrian maze of narrow streets with cubic whitewashed houses. An incredible destination full of charming, rustic cobblestoned streets, stunning sunsets, and ancient history, Mykonos Town is also known for its nightlife, with bars, restaurants and clubs open until sunrise. Whether you are drawn to Mykonos for the luxury accommodation, vivid nightlife, perfect ocean views, or famous Greek hospitality, explore the city’s winding pathways and you most definitely won’t be disappointed.
Little Venice
Few places on Mykonos are more charming than the winding streets of Little Venice. Offering some of the best views of the sunset, Little Venice is located in the center of Chora and sits right on the waterfront. It was directly inspired by the actual town of Venice in Italy, due to the Venetian influence on the town dating back to the 14th century. Walk its narrow streets and you will find plenty of bars, restaurants, and cafes in enchanting historic buildings. Adding to Little Venice’s charm, the Windmills of Mykonos are important historical landmarks and considered an iconic part of the island’s skyline.
Delos/Rineia
The ruins of Delos constitute the largest archaeological site in Europe and a UNESCO world heritage site, located just about two miles from Mykonos. This small rocky and barren island of Delos with shores full of reefs, has been the most important religious center of the Greeks. Lift your anchors and set sail for the nearby islet of Rineia, accessible only via boat. The small quiet island is set right next to Delos and cosmopolitan Mykonos. Although today Rineia is a protected archaeological site, with about 42 km of coastline, you will have plenty of opportunities to explore its crystal-clear waters and sandy shores.
Super Paradise Beach
The avant-garde setting of Super Paradise Beach is a synonym for everything that Mykonos represents. From the soft golden sand, glamorous crowd, party scene and DJ sets, comfy sunbeds and warm Aegean Sea, the beach is the right place to be, whether seeking pleasure or relaxation.
